A Testing inside The Member’s Area – Is it Actually Good
AICora is probably something you’ve heard of if you’re interested in AI tools that say they can handle social media management and even start full-blown agencies. For the past month, I’ve been going through every part of the app and testing it with real brands in ecommerce, fitness, and even local services to see if it really works.
I wanted to see how much of AICora’s promise holds up in real life after seeing the marketing and all the big income screenshots. In theory, you can use WhatsApp or Telegram to make your own “AI managers,” make content on the spot, and keep your feeds going all the time. I used the platform for 30 days, switching between different client setups and competing directly with well-known brands like Buffer, Hootsuite, Jasper, and Later.
I’ll be honest with you: AICora is a basic automation tool, but it has some real limits, especially when you put marketing claims to the test against the harsh realities of both agency life and social media compliance. If you’re thinking about buying in, I want to give you the full, honest picture based on my own experience.

What is AICora?
AICora is a social media manager that runs in the cloud and uses conversational AI. The main difference is that you set up “AI managers” who work through chat apps like WhatsApp and Telegram instead of using dashboards and widgets. That means you do most of your work by talking. It’s like telling a virtual assistant who knows how to post, schedule, and answer simple content requests what to do.
AICora goes after freelancers, solo entrepreneurs, and new agency owners. The base price is $37, but extras can cost up to $588. You don’t need any skills to start an agency, and your AI manager works around the clock, taking care of your content and client needs.
This is supposed to save time by adding AI-powered brainstorming to automation, which is better than tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, and Later. AICora is different from Jasper or Copy.ai because it tries to combine content writing and scheduling into one tool. This makes it a one-stop shop for people who are starting agencies or managing many accounts.
But the most unique thing about AICora is how it is set up to be chat-driven. In the world of mainstream social scheduling, this is the only thing that is this “conversational.” For simple requests, it’s actually fun and quick, but there’s a big difference between the novelty of running polished social brands and the daily grind of doing it.

So, let’s now have a look at the features I think you’ll really like, and areas where it falls short, with ratings for each:
Turning into a Virtual Manager (6 out of 10)
Setting up your “AI manager” is easier than most onboarding processes. You can create a brand persona, upload some basic information about your brand, and even add reference materials for the AI to “train” on through WhatsApp or Telegram. For instance, I made one for a vegan cookie DTC startup and another for a gym in my area. Both times, it took me less than 10 minutes to set it up. You can change the tone and feel of the AI pretty well, but it doesn’t really learn after the first few prompts. It helps to give it more information, but it still gets boring quickly. Don’t think you know a lot about the brand; just think you know a little bit about it. If you do more than just the basics for an agency or client, you’ll quickly see the AI’s limits. Great idea, but not very deep.
Content Generation (5 out of 10)
The most important thing to me was quality. Can it write posts that don’t sound like robots or repeat themselves? Across five niches, the structure of the content was good, but the voice was predictable. Most of the posts were just slight changes to popular hooks, not new ones that stood out. Instagram captions were fun, but no matter how much I changed the input, longer posts (like those for LinkedIn or Facebook) always felt like they were based on a template. It’s better than bulk AI spinners, especially for quick brainstorming, but it’s still not as good as a good writer or a high-end tool like Jasper. When I asked it for a week’s worth of posts for a pet brand, I got a mix of good and bad. Not useless, but you’ll have to make changes, edits, and sometimes even rewrite.
Integrations with other platforms: 7 out of 10
AICora works with a lot of different platforms right out of the box. These include Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn, Twitter, and (in beta) Pinterest and Google My Business. The actual posting worked for me about 95% of the time on both Facebook and Instagram. I had two posts scheduled on LinkedIn that didn’t go live for hours. You should pay attention to compliance: using bots to post automatically on Instagram or WhatsApp can sometimes make Meta’s algorithms mad, especially if you do it too much or get flagged for posting the same thing over and over. Compared to Buffer and Hootsuite, AICora’s integrations aren’t as good. There are no ways to track engagement or get help from customers. But it’s good enough for scheduling straight up.
Scheduling and Analytics (5 out of 10)
There are a lot of promises made about “intelligent scheduling” and reporting. Scheduling is easy to do in real life (pick a date, paste in content, and hit go), but that’s all there is to it. There aren’t many ideas about the best times to post, and the analytics reports aren’t very helpful. Mostly just keeping track of what went live, how many posts there were on each platform, and some very basic engagement numbers. AICora seems basic when compared to Buffer (which shows you insights by time of day and post level) or Hootsuite (which gives you full client reporting). It’s enough to keep things in order for one-time brands, but agency reporting or trend analysis isn’t available yet.

AICora Pricing and Upsell Breakdown
The starting price is $37 for a one-time payment. You get this for that:
- Ability to start up to three AI managers
- Using a basic chat interface to run three social media brands
- Making content, scheduling it, and doing basic analytics for up to twenty posts a month
If you really want to work for an agency, you’ll hit a wall very quickly. The ladder for upselling looks like this:
- For $97, you can get more managers and more posts each month. It’s not really unlimited; it’s more like 100 posts per brand per month, with support for up to 10 brands.
- The “Professional” version for $67 adds a few changes to the workflow, lets you whitelabel some reports, and gives you priority chat support.
- $197 “Agency” gives you team logins, full client management panels, and better support. It’s sold as the first step toward real agency work.
- “DFY” (Done For You) for $197 includes pre-built brand setups, basic onboarding calls, and a stock content pack. This one is pitched pretty hard, but it’s not very helpful if you’re already good at onboarding yourself.
The stack gets close to $600 if you go “all in.” In reality, I was able to get by with just the front end for personal brands and testing. If you want to post for clients or manage more than a few brands, you need the “Unlimited” upgrade. Anything more than that only pays off if you have more than five or six clients, and even then, the limits can be pretty annoying.
AICora’s entry price is lower than Buffer’s ($15 to $100 a month), Hootsuite’s ($99 a month), and Later’s (starts at $25 a month), but “Agency” costs $588 up front, which is a big commitment. There are no monthly fees, but the limits on each plan make a lot of people have to upgrade sooner than they thought, especially when they reach their post quotas. When you add in the time it takes to edit and the manual oversight that is needed, the returns on the upsell tiers don’t seem very good unless you are really churning through clients.
You won’t see in promo videos the time and money it takes to rewrite AI output, make sure compliance is followed, and organize brand assets. These costs add up quickly for busy agency owners. If you need real analytics or client-facing reports that look professional, you will probably have to use another tool with it.
Testing Results: Real World Impressions after 30 Days
Quality of Content
In everyday life. SaaS startup, local pizza shop, fashion ecommerce, and fitness coaching. The output from the post looked fine on the surface, but it didn’t always hit the tone I wanted right away. For example, here’s a made-up yoga studio:

This is good for extra content. When it came to campaigns with more depth. promotions for events, new products, or posts that respond to trends. The AI had a lot of trouble. To keep the brand voice and avoid repeating myself, I had to change or rewrite about 70% of the posts. AICora is a good way to come up with ideas for brands where voice is important, but don’t expect all of them to be ready to publish.
How well it’s efficient
It was easy to connect Instagram and Facebook Pages, and 95% of the posts that were supposed to go up on time did. Things went wrong. Two LinkedIn posts were late, and a few Instagram pictures with a lot of hashtags didn’t pass “validation” for no clear reason. WhatsApp and Telegram chat interfaces didn’t lag very often, but there were some strange disconnects after 20 or 30 minutes of not using them. I kept track of my posts for a month, and they were successful about 92% of the time.
Experience with Support
An in-app chat bubble and emails every now and then take care of support. I got answers to simple questions in four to eight hours. Anything more complicated, like fixing problems with the platform, took days of back-and-forth, especially on weekends. The reps are nice and try, but they don’t always know what they’re talking about. Knowledge base articles are common and not very detailed.
What people say vs. what really happens
The claim that you can post “24/7 nonstop” only works if you have a lot of unique content and don’t post too much at once. “Unlimited” plans still limit how many posts a brand can make, and if you schedule a lot of posts at once or set off spam filters, Instagram or Facebook will block you or push back. The automation helps keep the queue full, but you can’t just “flip a switch” and stop working. It saved me about two or three hours a week compared to manual tools, but I still had to check, edit, and respond to platform notifications by hand. Don’t believe everything that marketers say.
Who Should (and Shouldn’t) Get AICora?
AICora is best for:
- People who work in social media and business owners who are already familiar with content strategy but want a faster way to organize posts
- Small business teams that need regular, easy-to-read content and don’t mind editing AI drafts
- Solo creators with a lot of brands who want to post less by hand
If you:
- You are a beginner who wants to make money right away or run an agency business that you can forget about.
- You trust the income screenshots, but they don’t show what usually happens, and running an agency is a lot more work than that.
- You want content that blows clients away right away; AI output is just a starting point, not the final product.
- You aren’t ready to deal with account suspensions or platform policy run-ins that can happen with automation tools. Look into other options, like Buffer for easier scheduling and analytics, or Jasper for better AI content creation. If you need to manage all of your clients, do in-depth analytics, or work with a bigger team, Hootsuite and Sprout Social are better options. Each of those costs more per month, but they give you mature workflows for client work.
The Final Word on AICora
After 30 days of testing it against other products, I would give AICora a 6.5 out of 10. The core automation and chat-driven workflow are really fast for simple brands, and they will help you save time on basic scheduling. If you want to group posts together or come up with campaign ideas, the base product for $37 is worth a look. However, you’ll need to add your own brand voice and creative strategy.
Don’t buy the expensive upsells unless you are sure you will use the extra brands and features. Most small businesses won’t get their money’s worth, and the difference between “starter” and “agency” prices is huge. AICora isn’t a magic way to help your agency grow, and it doesn’t take the place of getting new clients or proven business skills. You should expect an assistant who is helpful, not a business engine that runs itself.
Always keep in mind that tools like this can help you get more done, but the long-term success of your agency or brand depends on the strategy, systems, and hard work you put into it. If you need help with content quickly, use AICora. Just be honest about what it can and can’t do.
