Hello, my name is Hai Nguyen, and this is my review of GramGenies.

I’ve used a lot of tools to help me grow my Instagram account. And here’s the harsh truth: most of them promise too much and don’t deliver. They say they can make money without doing anything, grow automatically, and make content that goes viral. Then you buy them, use them, and realise that you still have to do all the work.

You still come up with ideas for posts. You still answer comments. You still have to follow people by hand. The “AI magic” is just basic templates that sound like robots.

I tried out GramGenies, an Instagram AI suite made by Ben Murray and Abhi Dwivedi. The main promise is simple: six AI “Genies” that learn about your business and help it grow on Instagram.

It says it can make videos go viral, automatically gain followers, handle DMs, plan content, and find trends. While you sleep.

Sounds good. But after looking into the features, prices, and real use, I found a mix of useful tools and a lot of marketing hype.

This review will help you decide if GramGenies is worth your money if you are a small business owner, content creator, or marketer who wants to grow your Instagram account without a team.

What GramGenies Is and How It Works

GramGenies is a complete platform for marketing on Instagram. It puts AI content creation, video making, DM automation, scheduling, and trend research all in one place.

The main idea is that you teach the AI about your business by giving it documents, URLs, and information about your products. Then, the six AI “Genies” use that information to make Instagram posts, interact with followers, and grow your account.

This is how it works:

• Step 1: Teach your AI Genies about your business
• Step 2: Turn on the DM Genie so that replies and interactions happen automatically.
• Step 3: Get daily growth tasks from the Follower Genie
• Step 4: Use the Video Genie to make viral reels
• Step 5: Use the Planner Genie to make a month’s worth of content.
• Step 6: Use the Trends Genie to find popular topics.

The platform is cloud-based, works on mobile devices, and says it is Meta API approved, which means it follows Instagram’s rules.

But does it really work? Let me explain each part.

What the Six AI Genies Really Do

1. Genie for Messages and DMs

This Genie takes care of Instagram comments and direct messages for you. You tell the AI what words to look for, like “YES” or “INFO,” and it sends automatic replies with links, files, or other helpful information.

It can also talk to people using AI, respond to comments, and handle a lot of emails.

What I liked: This saves time if you get a lot of the same questions. When people ask, you can automatically send them your store link, free guide, or booking page.

What worries me is that Instagram doesn’t allow automated DMs very much. Even if you have access to the API, too much automation can set off spam filters or limit your account. A lot of people say that DM bots have shadowbanned them.

Real rating: 6 out of 10. Good for basic automation, but dangerous if used too much.

2. The Genie of Growing Followers

This is the feature that is most likely to be wrong. The name “Auto-Followers Genie” makes it sound like it will automatically grow your followers. But it doesn’t happen by itself.

What it really does is look at your niche and make a list of things you need to do every day. It tells you which profiles to follow, which posts to like, which comments to leave, and when to send people direct messages.

You do everything by hand. The AI only gives you ideas for things to do.

What I liked: The instructions are helpful for people who are new and don’t know where to start. It cuts down on the time spent on research.

What I didn’t like: The name is misleading. “Auto-Followers” makes it sound like the programme does all the work for you, but you have to do it all yourself. This is more like a task list maker than a growth bot.

Real rating: 4 out of 10. Good for beginners, but way too much hype.

3. Viral Reels Genie

This Genie makes Instagram reels by using AI to make videos. It writes scripts, adds voiceovers, puts in stock clips, and makes videos in a variety of styles.

There are three kinds of videos you can make:

• Top-of-funnel reels: Content that goes viral and gets a lot of attention
• Middle-of-funnel reels: Videos that teach and build trust
• Sales and call-to-action videos at the bottom of the funnel

It has a video editor that lets you drag and drop, AI avatars for spokespersons, realistic voiceovers, and automatic subtitles.

What I liked: The video editor works well. You can change the voiceovers, add stock footage, and change the layouts of scripts. The ability to clone avatars is very cool.

What worries me is that the marketing says the videos are “ultra-viral,” but no AI can guarantee that. Timing, audience, algorithm luck, and a lot of other things that can’t be predicted all play a role in viral content.

AI-generated videos also tend to look very similar to each other. You need to change them a lot to make them feel real.

Honest score: 7 out of 10. It’s a good tool for making videos, but “viral” is just a marketing term.

4. Genie for Planning and Creating Content

This Genie makes quotes, infographics, Instagram posts, carousels, and more. You type in a keyword, pick a format, and the AI makes content based on what you’ve learned about your business.

It has a content calendar for 30 days, an AI image generator, and a drag-and-drop editor. You can post directly to Instagram.

What I liked: This is the best part. It really does save time when you need to come up with ideas and design. The calendar helps you stay on track.

What I didn’t like: The text made by AI often sounds like it was written by a robot. You need to make a lot of changes to give it personality.

Honest rating: 8 out of 10. This is a great tool for making content that saves you time.

5. Trends Genie

This Genie looks through Instagram for popular posts, hashtags, and content in your niche. It helps you come up with ideas that have already worked.

What I liked: Trend research is boring. This tool makes it go faster and shows you what’s working.

What I didn’t like: A lot of free tools already do this. You still need to use your own judgement because trends change faster than tools can update.

Honest rating: 6 out of 10. Useful, but not one of a kind.

6. DFY Genies

These are AI templates that have already been trained for popular areas like health, fitness, crypto, and relationships. Each DFY Genie knows how to promote affiliate products and make money.

What I liked: It’s great for people who are just starting out and don’t have any products to sell. You can start advertising right away.

What I didn’t like was that everyone who used the same DFY Genie would make content that was similar. Affiliate marketing also doesn’t work very well. Most people don’t make any money.

5 out of 10 for honesty. It’s easy to use, but it’s not a sure way to make money.

The Real Cost of GramGenies

GramGenies uses a classic launch funnel, starting with a low price and then offering more products at higher prices.

Front End: $47 for GramGenies Premium

This comes with all six Genies, the right to sell them, and the AI Affiliate Freedom training course.

But here’s the catch: the $47 version has some limits. You can only make a few things, make a few videos, and have a few accounts. You need the upsells for serious use.

GramGenies Gold for $197

This is the upgrade you need to make things work. It has:

• AI posts and videos with no limits
• Agency license for 15 customers
• Scheduling and accounts without limits
• Full HD rendering and VIP support

In my opinion, you should plan for this if you buy GramGenies. The $47 version will feel too small.

GramGenies Elite: $127

This adds support for multiple languages, white-label assets, DFY agency sites, and a link-in-bio builder.

My opinion: Only useful if you offer Instagram services to clients.

GramGenies Platinum for $127 is OTO3.

This lets you add team members, manage 100 client accounts, and access the affiliate programme. It also lets you white-label the whole app.

In my opinion, it’s only for agencies or resellers. If you are the only one using it, skip it.

RankReel, AIReputors, and Koincart cost $97 each.

These items have nothing to do with each other and are all in the funnel. RankReel puts videos on YouTube in order. AIReputors takes care of reviews on the web. Koincart takes payments in cryptocurrency.

In my opinion, these have nothing to do with Instagram. Just extra upselling.

GramGenies vs. Other Instagram Apps

• Later and Hootsuite are better for analytics and scheduling than GramGenies. For making AI content, GramGenies is better.
• GramGenies vs. ManyChat: ManyChat is better for automating DMs and chatbots. GramGenies has more features, but it’s more dangerous to use for DM automation.
• Jasper and ChatGPT are better for writing well than GramGenies. GramGenies has more video tools and scheduling options that are specific to Instagram.
• When it comes to video editing, InVideo and Pictory are better than GramGenies. GramGenies combines video creation with other Instagram features.

In short, GramGenies is a good all-in-one tool, but specialised tools usually do each job better.

Real Life Experiences

Based on what users have said online, the main themes are:

Good:

• Tools for making content save time
• The video editor is good and simple to use.

• Good for people who are new and need templates and help

Bad:

• Follower growth is done by hand, not automatically.
• Some users got spam warnings because of DM automation.

I think GramGenies gives you useful tools, but the ads make it sound like the software can do more than it really can.

How to Use GramGenies to Get Better Results

• Give the AI a lot of training: Upload detailed business information, product descriptions, and examples of the brand’s voice. The more information you give, the better the result.
• Always edit AI content before you post it: Never post it as is. Always add personality, fix awkward phrasing, and make it sound like a person.
• Be careful when using DM automation: Start with a few simple trigger words and a low volume. Check for spam warnings. Don’t go overboard.
• Mix AI-generated content with your own posts: Use AI to fill in gaps and keep things consistent. Add your own posts to make it more real and connect with others.
• The Content Planner Genie is the most useful part: Pay attention to it. Use it to keep things organised and on track.
• Don’t buy upsells that don’t have anything to do with Instagram: OTO4, 5, and 6 are not related to Instagram. Keep your money.

After trying out GramGenies, here’s what I really think:

GramGenies is a good tool for making Instagram posts, but the way it is marketed is not honest.

In short

GramGenies is a 6.5 out of 10 product that is sold as a 10 out of 10 solution. It is not a scam, but it is not a big deal either. Don’t expect too much from the AI output; instead, use it as a content assistant and not a full Instagram growth system.

If you do buy it, start with the $47 version to see if you like it; only upgrade to Gold if you use it a lot, and don’t buy anything else that isn’t related.

It takes time, work, and a plan to grow your Instagram account. GramGenies can help you make content, but they can’t replace real engagement, good deals, and hard work.
